Students often obtain their job placement (for year-end students) before receiving their final ACCA results.
The speciality of ACCA
There is no maximum attempt, but you must complete all qualified ACCA papers within seven years.
Passing marks is only 50% for both ACCA and FIA-ACCA programs.
Upon completing all qualified ACCA papers, students are granted the title of an ACCA affiliate. Affiliates then complete 3 to 5 years of working experience by submitting their Practical Experience Record (PER) to ACCA to obtain the status of ACCA members. ACCA qualification is recognized worldwide. After at least three years of working experience, ACCA members may register their name with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants to obtain a "CA" (Chartered Accountant) at the back of their character.
