Sanny & Joleen Lifestyle: Antioxidant Serum for a Radiant, Healthy Skin

Hey readers. Last few weeks, I was introduced to a brand new skincare product by Sanny & Joleen Lifestyle which is an antioxidant serum (If you have not heard about this brand before, they were used to sell handbags too hehe). I am really happy when Sanny & Joleen Lifestyle contacted me to try their antioxidant serum. Claimed to be packed in with antioxidant goodness from Tocotrienol, Calendula and Olive Oil, I was a bit excited to try them out (I am currently trying to get rid of my acne scars especially on my cheeks soo i am now searching the right things to make it comes true lol).

Introduction to Sanny & Joleen Lifestyle

Before i jump into my review, let's check out their simple, minimal and sophisticated packaging. It is white in colour, and the box stated the direction of use, ingredients, precautions reminder, and other necessary information like other products used to have on their packaging. Oh ya, you can find out the expiry date of this serum below the box. The ingredients you can check it from the above pictures. (I focused the camera towards the ingredients for you to see by your own hihi). Among all the breakout ingredients for this product is the Tocotrienol.

The Texture

Tocotrienol are proven to be 40-60 times more potent as an antioxidant as compared to ordinary Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol). Tocotrienol is a powerful antioxidant that protects against ultraviolet light, radiation and ozone. It helps to prevent skin aging & improves skin elasticity by stimulating collagen synthesis by reducing MMPs activity, potentially effective in skin regeneration & smoothing effect. Tocotrienol promote skin whitening by reducing tyrosinase activity and decrease melanin content. It is also effective in reducing acne, inflammation and skin redness.

What it claims to be: Dermatologist tested. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin, Antioxidant Serum is designed to help lighten pigmentation, reduce acne & post acne marks, scars, for dehydrated skin, reduce sunburn effect and also for stretch marks.

How to use: Apply twice daily after face or body wash.

My Point of View: I think it is too soon for me to review the product as it has been only a week i'm using it, therefore here are my short review (i will elaborate more in future in this same post in a month, will definitely notify you readers in my FB page Mellya Iola's Official). It is non-oily and non-greasy when applied on skin, with a slight cooling sensation (just a little) and rapidly absorbed to the skin. There is no strong scent which i really like it the most (some serum have a strong smell which is really disturbing). Regarding to the claims (scars and brightens) it might need some ample time to works on me (haha i had tried the product only for a week, so let's just give it some time). As for the rating, i will rate it when the time comes.
